Research at National Archives

All aboard the Amtrak!!! Four days of research in Washington, DC. NCGS will be sponsoring a train trip to the National Archives in Washington, DC on September 13-18, 1998. AMTRAK will begin picking up passengers on September 13 in Charlotte at 8:00am and will make stops at Kannapolis, Salisbury, High Point, Greensboro, Burlington, Durham, Cary, Raleigh, Selma, Wilson, Rocky Mount, and arrive in Alexandria, VA at 5:20pm. Each person will be limited to two bags. We will be staying at the Holiday Inn at the Eisenhower Metro Center in Alexandria. This trip is limited to 84 people and will be on a first come, first served basis.
Registration and a non-refundable deposit of $160.00 for double occupancy OR registration and a non-refundable deposit of $205.00 for single occupancy must accompany the registration form. The deadline for registration is due no later than July 1, 1998. This deposit covers the Amtrak charges and one night's lodging. Individuals will be responsible for hotel charges and meals the other four days.
To reserve your seat, send your deposit (check or money order) to NCGS, National Archives Trip, PO Box 22, Greenville, NC 27835-0022. Confirmation of deposit will be mailed upon receipt with more details of the trip to follow. This trip is limited to the first 84 people to register.
