Getting There is Easy
Raleigh is conveniently located on I-40 in eastern North Carolina, with easy access from I-95, I-64, and I-85. If you choose to travel by car, Raleigh is just four-and-a-half hours from Charleston, SC; three hours from Richmond, VA; and six-and-a-half hours from Atlanta.
There is a 900-space parking garage attached to the Raleigh Convention Center and more than 4,000 parking spaces within a 2-block radius of the center.
Raleigh is served by the Raleigh-Durham International Airport which is a 20-minute drive from downtown. Ten major airlines and nineteen regional carriers provide service to more than 40 desginations.
Amtrak offers service to Raleigh from Richmond, Washington, D. C., Baltimore, Philadelphia, Miami, Tampa, Savannah, and Charleston. The Raleigh Station, located at 320 West Cabarrus Street, is two blocks from the convention center.
