Mark Lowe, CG, FUGA, in the Main Library, Charlotte Mecklenburg Library, Francis Auditorium (lower level), 310 North Tryon Street, Charlotte, NC 28202 (use E. 6th Street entrance across from the Hearst Tower parking garage). Mr. Lowe’s presentation, Diamonds, River Rocks, and Lumps of Coal, will provide an understanding of the connection of people, places and the events of our ancestors lives and how unique stories of their lives unfold. This is a FREE program.
Saturday, 8 June 2013 at ImaginON, The Joe & Joan Martin Center, 300 East Seventh Street, Charlotte, NC. Overlooked Genealogy Sources. J. Mark Lowe, CG, FUGA will provide four sessions to inform his audience of genealogical sources frequently overlooked. The lectures are: Follow a Case Through Court; Road Crews, Jury Selection, and Daily Court Action: Finding an Ancestor without a Census; Trails of Daniel Boone and Other Western Travelers; and Finding Your Landless Ancestors.
