Featured on the cover: A photo found in the album of Archie Carter Dalton (1853-1876), a student at the Bingham School and Davidson College. This is believed to be Edwin L. McNabb (b. c 1849), son of Robert and Elizabeth (Thomas) McNabb of Moore and Bladen counties, NC, and husband of Laura Bethune Jones (1858-1951). Mr McNabb was a teacher, lawyer, and inspector of schools at various times. He eventually settled in Gwinnett Co., GA.
