Just six weeks from tomorrow, the NCGS Fall Conference will convene! We hope you are getting excited to gather with like minded genealogists and learn from some incredible experts. This year’s conference features lectures from the following genealogists:

Roberta Estes, a founding pioneer in the field of genetic genealogy, speaks and writes about DNA and is founder of the Lost Colony DNA research projects.

Janice Lovelace, PhD, has 25 years of experience researching family history and has presented a variety of topics including Ethic group, DNA, and Health research.

Larry W. Cates is a librarian at the Heritage Research Center of the High Point [NC] Public Library. He has written, lectured, and edited extensively.

David McCorkle created nclandgrants.com providing images and data for all NC land grants. He lectures on various topics at the national, state, and local level.

Jill Morelli, CG®, lectures nationwide about intermediate and advanced methodologies and unique record sets, which she encounters with her personal and client research and writing.

Elissa Scalise Powell, CG ® CGL(SM), is co-director of Genealogical Research Institute of Pittsburgh (GRIP), instructor at IGHR, past president of BCG, past instructor BU and SLIG.

Diane L. Richard has been doing genealogy research since 1987 and since 2004 professionally focused on the records of North Carolina and the Southern states.

Craig Roberts Scott, MA, CG®, FUGA, has been a researcher for over thirty years, specializing in problem solving, military records, Quaker records, and publishing.
