About the Webinar:

Newspapers have been in circulation in the United States since the beginning and can provide rich genealogical and historical information about your family members and their associates. Today’s technology makes it easier than ever to find and analyze these records, supplying details that can enrich your family stories. This class will focus on newspaper research in North Carolina and how it can fill in gaps that may occur in traditional documentary research.

About the Speaker:

She is a full-time research specialist at the FamilySearch Library in Salt Lake City, an adjunct faculty member at Salt Lake Community College where she teaches online classes on genealogy research and accreditation and the owner and managing member of Anderson Genealogical Research, LLC.
Julia serves as the Conference Chair for the Utah Genealogical Association, where she served on the Board of Directors for six years. She is a Commissioner for ICAPGen, the International Commission for the Accreditation of Professional Genealogists.
