Conference Registration Opens on Tuesday, 9 May

There’s nothing worse than arriving at a conference on opening day to find out standing in line is the first thing you do. What are you missing while you are waiting in line with all those people? Since we expect nearly 2,000 genealogists at the NGS conference this year, you know lines to pick up registration packets will be long on the first day. Did you know that you can pick up your registration packet on Tuesday, 9 May, the day before the conference starts? Doing so will ensure you won’t miss the Opening Session (which will be great this year) because you have to stand in line.

Stop by the Registration area, located on the lower level of the Convention Center, anytime on Tuesday afternoon between noon and 7:00 p.m. Whether you fly or drive, if you’re in Raleigh on Tuesday, be sure to swing by the Convention Center to pick up your registration packet. The lines will be shorter on Tuesday than they will be on Wednesday morning when you will be eager to attend the Opening Session or a lecture later in the morning. For those who will not arrive early in Raleigh, the Registration area will open at 7:00 a.m. each morning on Wednesday through Saturday, 10-13 May.

If you haven’t registered for the conference yet, NGS will be on-site all week near the Registration area to accept those last minute registrations.
