A LIVE Webinar Jan. 3, 2017 at 7:00 PM EST.
This live webinar is available to NCGS members only. You must be logged in to access registration below.
The handout for this presentation will be posted on the NCGS website at least one week prior to the webinar. On the top menu, under Education & Events select Webinars to go to the main webinars page. About the Webinar:
Our North Carolina ancestors left a treasure trove of records in the courts of their time. Finding the right court and the right records can be a challenge, yet understanding the records of the courts closest to the average citizen is a skill that’s crucial to finding clues to family history in the Tarheel State. In part 1 (January 2018), we’ll examine colonial and early statehood records, and in part 2 (September 2018) we will cover post-1868 state records and the records of North Carolina’s federal courts.
