Given in two categories: newsletter and journal. In each category, this award recognizes an outstanding example of a periodical published by a local North Carolina genealogical society.
The deadline for submissions is August 15. Submitted publications become the property of NCGS and will be donated to the Government & Heritage Library of the State Library of North Carolina.
