Webinars

NCGS presents free live webinars to members throughout the year, which are added to our library of recorded webinars within a few weeks after the live event. Genealogists will find that many families came through North Carolina – some stayed, others moved on, and a few returned. The information provided in these webinars will be useful to all researchers of southern states and their peoples. Every few months, a selected recorded webinar is made available to the public for three days of free viewing. All recorded webinars are available to NCGS members at any time. (All webinar CDs are currently out-of-print, and are no longer being offered in the online store.)  Learn more about our webinars.

Workshops

NCGS holds workshops in various locations throughout the state featuring knowledgeable, nationally-recognized speakers. The Fall Workshop is held in conjunction with the Society’s Annual Meeting. Workshops in the spring and summer are co-sponsored with NCGS member societies. Please contact programs@ncgenealogy.org if your society is interested in co-sponsoring a workshop.  View our upcoming workshops.
