Past issues of our quarterly journal, the North Carolina Genealogical Society Journal are available in PDF format to members. You can access and download journal issues from 1975 to the present. That’s over 11,000 pages of genealogical goodness.
Subscription to quarterly NCGS JOURNAL
Our quarterly publication, the North Carolina Genealogical Society Journal, contains well-researched articles of genealogical value and numerous abstracts of unpublished records relating to North Carolina. Your Journal can be delivered electronically or by postal mail. (Note: Members whose mailing address is outside the United States will access the NCGS Journal electronically.)
Unlmited viewing of Recorded NCGS Webinars
NCGS presents free live webinars throughout the year. The recordings of these webinars are made available to the public for three days of free viewing. After the free viewing period, all recorded webinars are available only to NCGS members. In addition, the webinar handout is a member-only benefit.
Members receive a discount on registration fees for NCGS workshops held in various locations throughout the state. The Fall Workshop is held in conjunction with the Society’s Annual Meeting in the fall. NCGS also co-sponsors workshops with member societies in the spring and summer.

Our bi-monthly electronic newsletter contains event updates, research tips and news of interest to genealogists researching North Carolina ancestors. This subscription is available to both members and non-members.

NCGS has partnered with other organizations to provide member discounts. Both Family Chronicle and Internet Genealogy magazines offer discounted rates to our members.
