About the Webinar:
Robert Walker of Rockingham County, North Carolina, and Orange County, Indiana, vanished without a trace in 1829. Generations of descendants tried unsuccessfully to discover his Walker ancestry. Research in ten counties of five states, DNA testing, and legal proceedings around a deed his purported father failed to execute resulted in a proof argument identifying Robert’s Walker ancestry.
This webinar will discuss what the records (census, probate, land) revealed, details of Tennessee and Kentucky court cases, the FAN club and the association with the Johnson and Allen families, identification and documentation of Joel Walker’s two wives and fourteen children, and how the evidence supports the conclusion.
