North Carolina Estate Files, Dobbs County Index

Dobbs County
Established in 1758 (effective 1759) from Johnston County. Divided into Glasgow and Lenoir counties in 1791. Land records destroyed by fire at Lenoir County Courthouse in 1880.

This county is not available at Family Search, and we have no index.

The State Archives of North Carolina lists a very few original records, and some microfilm land records (includes records of Johnston County, 1764-1759, and Lenoir County, 1792-1880).
